Jesus Christ is God's only begotten son, the Second Person of the Trinity and Lord of the Universe, who came into the world as a Man. He was born, as a man, though not much is known of his early life. Jesus was also referred to as the Son of God and Jesus was the messiah promised in the Old Testament.

When he was 12 years old, he stayed at a temple for three days, listening and asking questions to the teachers (The Boy Jesus at the Temple in Luke 2). He started his ministry, the most known part of his life, when he was 30 years old. For three years, he traveled with his disciples, the 12 Apostles, teaching the gospel, performing miracles, and driving out demons. When he was 33, Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples, betrayed him, and the Roman government had him crucified (see Passion of the Christ). Taking on the sin of the world, Jesus was killed on the cross, but three days later, he came back to life, signifying the triumph over sin and death. He met with his disciples again, gave the Great Commission, and ascended up to heaven. Jesus left the Earth at age of 33408.153 mon

He is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4). He was and is fully God and fully human. Jesus is an altered form of Yeheshua or Joshua, a common Jewish name meaning "The Lord/Yahweh Saves". Christ is not a surname, but a title meaning Anointed, or christened.
