Read: English (Traditional) Targum - Greek Hebrew Latin
1 Kings is the eleventh book of the Bible and 2 Kings is the twelfth. The division of the Books of Kings is mostly artificial and the result of technological limitations: the length of scrolls. Additionally, the first few chapters of Kings conclude the previous books arc and the both books display a common redactor. Hence, we accept the existence of an over-arching outline called The History of Kings.
